A native of Caen (France-Normandy), born in 1971, Laurent Fleury is a self-tought guitarist. Initially influenced by Maiden, Metallica and Megadeth, he played in several local bands before discovering the music of Yngwie Malmsteen. Intrigued by that example neoclassical shred, Laurent began to listen to other guitar heroes like Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, and Steve Vaļ. In order to study these great guitarists he took some lessons Franck Hebert( an AIM graduate) for six months and then began a long work of apprenticeship for many years. In 1998 Laurent decided to record a solo album, just for himself and his friends. But based on the significant interest generated by the first 150 copies, he signed a contract with Multicom-City for a full release in Mau 1999... He meets Ron Thal who asked him to be on the Guitarapalooza Vol.1 compilation with great guitar players like Jennifer Batten, Brett Garsed... After many concerts, after writing articles, transcriptions for magazines, Laurent released his second CD with Patrick Rondat and Ron Thal(Bumblefoot) as guests on two songs. Ron also Mastered the CD to give more powerful and clarity to the sound of the album...
